I have run in:

cold rain in Indianapolis for the Carmel marathon where it started in the 50's with pouring rain and then each wave would start with wind first and then rain and a drop in temperature. Ended with temps near freezing and rain that turned into sleet and then snow

a warm, humid summer morning where the dew point was 71 and the temperature already near 80 degrees and it felt 100 degrees different than my winter runs

the winter run after dropping Chloe off at dance when I was the only one out running and the the snow was squeaky because of the cold. I wore a buff that immediately grew icy white with crystals from my breath and the cold air was so dry and so cold it made me gasp

another cold run when the wind chill was -35 below zero and I knew I just needed to keep running because if I stopped I would cool down so fast I was afraid of hypothermia

the half marathon in the summer that I got so hot and so red that once I was done with the race my body couldn't cool down and it felt like I was boiling over

and everything in between
